ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Tommy Raksasap is the founder of Sense Hydration
My name is Tommy Raksasap. I started Sense Hydration after my own body reminded me I’m not a machine. I’ve always lived in two lanes at once: I train hard, and I work hard. Early mornings at 2-4am or late nights that run until 2-4am. Yes, you read that right. Then long days leading sales teams, on the phone, at a desk, building someone else’s business and my own on the side. When I moved into my first house, everything hit at once. New place, boxes everywhere, job chaos, long hours, stress through the roof. I kept telling myself, “I’ll rest when this calms down.” You’ve probably said the same thing. Then my back completely locked up. One day I was lifting and moving like normal, the next morning I woke up and couldn’t move without feeling like I was getting shot in the lower back. At first I tried to tough it out. I literally had to roll out of bed and crawl. I was stuck on the floor, angry, embarrassed, and honestly a little scared. I’m the guy people rely on. Tasks to take care of. Bills to pay. Food to put on the table. No backup plan. I felt stuck. That’s when my girl asked, “Do we need to call the ambulance?” Now I’m thinking, ‘I don’t want to pay $3,000 for a car ride,” while the pain is so sharp I can’t walk across my own bedroom, let alone get up for work. It took everything in me just to grab whatever I could and pull myself up. Later that day, I ended up in physical therapy, something I never thought I’d need at my age. During the eval and first session, every movement felt like a stab. At the end, the PA looks at me and asks, “Have you been drinking enough water?” I paused and said, “You think I’m dehydrated? Seriously?” Then I had to be honest: I’d been running on caffeine, stress, and willpower. I hadn’t been drinking my water or my electrolytes like I normally do. I said it out loud with the biggest embarrassment on my face. He paused and said, “You might be dehydrated. You’re super tight.” It felt like getting called out by reality. Because if you live like I do, you know this feeling: You stack too many hard sessions, too many late nights, too many “I’ll just push through,” and suddenly normal stuff hurts. Your back, your knees, your sleep, your focus. You snap at people you care about. You’re trying to be the one everyone can count on, and your own body starts to fall apart at the exact wrong time. That’s who Sense is for. It’s for the people who don’t get to tap out just because they’re tired. The ones who train before or after work, then sit at a desk all day or are out on their feet building. The ones who get up and take care of things when it’s required of them without a second thought. Leaders who lead others, not just themselves. The people who raise a family, take everything life throws at them, are forced to make something out of it, and still have to show up again tomorrow like nothing hurts. You already carry the weight of all of that. Hydration shouldn’t be another complicated project or some “perfect routine” you only follow on good weeks. Sense is zero sugar daily electrolytes you’ll actually use, so you’re not running on fumes, ignoring warning signs, and waiting until your body forces you to stop like mine did.
We don’t try to add more to your life. We make the life you’re already living make sense.
